I have run the XHorse Firmware Update tool to connect to the cable & it works fine. Not sure if its a cable issue (ebay ) or I'm missing a setting in my laptop somewhere (Win 7 圆4). Everything seems fine, windows recognizes the cable fine, Techsteam opens fine, but when I click on 'Connect to Vehicle' it thinks about it for a few seconds & then I get the message 'Error: Unable to connect to VIM' OpenVZ VPS is displayed as offline in SolusVM: Unable to connect to Virtuozzo. Used these instructions to & have the drivers running for the connector. This should make it more accessible to those who either don't want the hassle of working with virtual machines or are having a hard time getting their hands on an XP laptop.
